The Ellettsville Chamber hosted its Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Thursday, October 24. After a delicious meal catered by the Shrine Club 1870 Caterers, members voted on the slate of directors who will serve a four-year term beginning in 2025. Gary Brinley from Peoples State Bank, Clark Greiner from BEDC and Donna Niese from The Niese Agency will serve another term and Kim Pitcher from Smithville will join the Ellettsville Chamber Board of Directors.

Lovely centerpieces donated by the Mimosa Tree Florist and Gift Shoppe added a special touch and were awarded as door prizes at the end of the evening.

We’re excited to announce this year’s award recipients:

  • Award of Excellence (sponsored by 2023 winner The Caffeinated Cook): Richland Bean-Blossom Health Care Center
  • Spirit of Maurice E. Endwright Award (sponsored by Visit Bloomington): Jerry D. Cravens
  • Educator of the Year: Lori Majors

In addition, we presented a special recognition plaque to the Edgewood Marching Mustangs for their impressive achievement as two-time Class C Division Champions at the Indiana State School Music Association Finals!

We are incredibly proud of these outstanding individuals and teams and their contributions to our community. A heartfelt thank-you to our Event Sponsors, who made this wonderful evening possible.
