This morning, the Greater Ellettsville Area business community came together for a Reorganization Panel Discussion, engaging in a thoughtful and informative conversation about the future of local governance and how our town and township might evolve. We were thrilled by the strong turnout and the energy in the room as community members, leaders, and stakeholders shared their questions and perspectives.

We extend our gratitude to our panelists, Ellettsville Town Manager Michael Farmer, Town Council Member and Reorganization Committee Member William Ellis, and Reorganization Committee Member Dawn Durnil for providing valuable insights, explaining the considerations behind potential changes, and helping our members better understand the process and implications of reorganization. A special thank-you goes to Joyce Poling, who served as moderator and skillfully guided the discussion, keeping it engaging and informative.

We are also grateful to our sponsors, Duke Energy and IU Credit Union, for their generous support, which helped make this event possible.

Finally, a huge thank-you to our committee members, whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes ensured the event ran smoothly. Their efforts, combined with the enthusiasm of attendees, made this panel a meaningful conversation about Ellettsville’s future.

We appreciate everyone who attended and contributed to this important discussion.
