Remembering G.L. Chandler
The Greater Ellettsville Area Chamber of Commerce extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of G.L. Chandler of Chandler Funeral Home, who passed away on Sunday.
G.L. was a longtime Chamber member and past president who believed deeply in giving back to the community he called home. He was a staunch supporter of Ellettsville, generously giving his time, resources, and encouragement to countless community efforts. From hosting the Ellettsville Farmers Market and supporting Chamber events, youth sports, local schools, charities, and community events, G.L. was always willing to lend his support.
Beyond all he did for the community, G.L. valued his family and lived his life with kindness and generosity. His willingness to help others and his genuine care for the community made a lasting difference in many lives.
The Chamber is grateful for his years of service, friendship, and commitment to Ellettsville.
We will remember G.L. with great appreciation and extend our deepest sympathy to his family during this difficult time.

Indiana Members Credit Union and AAA Hoosier Partner to Provide Added Value for Indiana Drivers
Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) and AAA Hoosier are launching a new partnership to provide Indiana drivers with greater value and support on and off the road. Beginning September 14, consumers who finance or refinance a qualifying auto loan with IMCU will receive a free one-year AAA Classic membership.* The partnership is a natural extension of a shared commitment to provide Indiana drivers with peace of mind on the road. The combination of IMCU’s financial expertise and AAA Hoosier’s roadside assistance, travel services and member services provides added value to drivers.
“There’s a natural overlap between AAA Hoosier and IMCU, not only in the families we serve, but in our shared commitment to being a trusted, everyday partner for Hoosiers on and off the road,” said Wendy Mehringer, chief growth and experience officer for AAA Hoosier. “We’re proud to bring our expertise and member benefits to this partnership and help IMCU deliver even greater value to its members.”
