JOB OPPORTUNITY NOTICE
Part-time Clerk, an appointed position of the Clerk Treasurer
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This includes taking notes & preparing minutes for the Ellettsville Redevelopment Commission and Town Council meetings. Transcribing and typing up minutes and preparing documents and minutes for board approval after Clerk Treasurer has reviewed. Take detailed notes during meetings, documenting key points, discussions, and decisions made with roll call votes. Minutes must be submitted for clerk review within 5 days of meeting date.
EDUCATION
High school diploma.
EXPERIENCE
Experience taking meeting minutes. Ability to actively listen and capture relevant information from discussions during meetings. High level of accuracy in recording information and ensuring all relevant details are included. Ability to manage multiple meeting notes and effectively organize information for clear minute writing, after each meeting, and compile comprehensive meeting minutes, Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word, Ability to type quickly and accurately.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK ENVIROMENT
Perform duties in a standard office environment, involving sitting/standing/walking, and lifting/carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds. May occasionally have work extended or evening hours

Part time as needed 2nd and 4th Mondays 4:30 pm- 7:30pm.
SALARY
salary range $20-$35 based on experience
