Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) celebrated the grand opening of its Bottleworks Corporate Headquarters with a ribbon cutting and community celebration, marking not only a new chapter for the organization but also its 70th anniversary of serving Hoosiers since its founding in 1956.
The grand opening of the Bottleworks headquarters, located at 835 N. College Avenue, Suite 1120, took place on Wednesday, March 11, with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by IMCU leadership, staff, community partners, and guests. The event commemorated IMCU’s continued growth and commitment to the Indianapolis community while honoring seven decades of member-focused service.
“Celebrating the opening of our new headquarters while also recognizing IMCU’s 70‑year history made this event especially meaningful,” said John Newett, President and CEO of Indiana Members Credit Union. “We are grateful to everyone who joined us for the ribbon cutting and celebration. Your support reflects the strong relationships we’ve built over the decades, and returning to downtown Indianapolis represents a meaningful return to our roots. IMCU was founded in 1956 on the campus of IU Indianapolis, making our presence downtown especially important. We are excited to continue serving our members, businesses, and the surrounding community from our new Bottleworks home.”
IMCU’s new corporate headquarters and training center is adjacent to its recently opened full-service Bottleworks branch, further strengthening the credit union’s presence in the area.
