Last week, we were thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Knitting Romance in Historic Downtown Ellettsville. Owned by Lynn Bloch, this charming new shop blends her love of yarn, fiber arts, and reading into a cozy, creative space for our community.

After a 20-year career as a veterinary technician, Lynn shifted her focus toward her lifelong passion for making. Taught to crochet by her grandmother and later a self-taught knitter, she eventually rediscovered her love of books and has brought those interests together in her new venture.

Knitting Romance offers a thoughtfully curated selection of yarns, notions, fiber-arts supplies, romance novels, and children’s books, all designed to inspire creativity and connection.

We’re grateful Lynn chose Ellettsville for her next chapter, and we’re excited to welcome her into our Chamber family and our growing downtown business community.
