The CDO is the County Development Ordinance. This document encompasses a re-write of our current Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinances. This update will also include rezoning the entire County jurisdiction (except the Town of Ellettsville and the City of Bloomington). The CDO guides where development can occur, at what scale/density, and what type is allowed.

Call to Action:

This document will define the county for the next 10-15 years.  The Planning Commission met September 24 and October 1, to hear public feedback.

After all testimony was heard, the Plan Commission voted to close all public testimony and to allow written comment until Sunday, October 6 at 5 PM. Please spread the word. Full details on next steps are posted here.
