Ambassadors Out in the Community Growing Chamber Membership
Three of our six Chamber Ambassadors were out and about last month connecting with prospective members as part of our ongoing membership drive. Lisa Colvin (Peoples State Bank), Kameren Werczynski (Indiana Members Credit Union), and Brad Pressley (Owen County State Bank) spent time visiting local businesses, sharing the benefits of Chamber membership, and inviting them to get involved in our growing business community. We appreciate their dedication to helping strengthen and expand our network!

Internship Fair
The time has come, and we are recruiting employers to serve as worksite mentors for EHS Juniors and Seniors! Instead of students heading out into our community to find placements, we would like to partner with local employers to provide incredible work-based learning opportunities for our students
Our EHS students have an opportunity to explore 18 Next Level Pathways as possible career fields. We would love to offer 4-5 internship opportunities for students upon completion of Pathways and transition into work-based learning. In addition to the Pathways, we are looking for partners in the fields of cosmetology, construction, law, law enforcement, project management, etc.
How can you learn more and possibly get involved?
- Fill out this quick Google Form to register and let us know you're interested in this possibility. We will connect with you individually to answer your questions!
- Come to a Work-Based Learning Fair at EHS to meet potential interns.
- March 25, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the EHS Gymnasium
- Join early at 8:00 a.m. for the Ellettsville Chamber of Commerce Coffee Connection!
- Finally, you will be matched with an intern, who meets your needs as an employer, and can learn from you in a particular career field. It’s a win-win
- If you have any questions, please just fill out the form above or email me separately. I'm here to help and look forward to providing rewarding opportunities for students and employers in our area!
