The Envision Ellettsville Task Force has been working hard to determine the character of parts of town. At their last meeting they identified design elements for public spaces, things like benches, lights, and signs. What should those elements look like?
You can participate too. If you see something that “fits” Ellettsville, snap a pic and upload it to this Google drive. The drive will be open until November 27.

Seven Oaks' annual sock drive for the Shalom Community Center, called Soctober, was a huge success this year! Socks are the most requested item at the center, and this year we aimed to collect 2100 socks. However, we surpassed our goal by a large margin, with a total of 3380 socks donated. Thanks to this generous contribution, they will be able to meet the center's sock needs for the entire year. Congratulations to all the students for their outstanding effort!
Seven Oaks Giving Tuesday Campaign focuses on TEACHERS!
What better way to bless the community than to provide encouragement and help to the teachers who are forming our future citizens? This Giving Tuesday, we embark on a fundraising drive with a single focus: recognizing and supporting our teachers. They are the lifeblood of the institution, imparting not only knowledge but also wisdom, character, and a love for learning. Our goal is to raise $25,000. We are asking the community to consider either a direct donation or a matching grant. All funds raised through our Giving Tuesday campaign will go to our teachers.

Fully Digitized Editions of The Herald-Times

To help provide continued support of local journalism and the important role it plays in the Monroe County community, the Library is pleased to offer patrons access to fully digitized editions of The Herald-Times from 1943 to the present. This significant investment in our local history makes it easier for our community members to search for and retrieve information that has been published in The Herald-Times, including photographs and advertisements.
