New Member Spotlight

Please help us welcome another outstanding business to our Chamber family! Each new member strengthens our community and helps build a brighter future for Ellettsville.
Lynn, her husband Eric, and their son David Bloch are happy transplants from Pennsylvania, though Lynn and Eric originally hail from Wisconsin. Before opening Knitting Romance, Lynn spent twenty years working as a veterinary technician before shifting her focus to family life after David’s arrival. Taught to crochet by her grandmother and later a self-taught knitter, Lynn’s lifelong love of creating naturally evolved into a passion for yarn. Reading reentered her life when she began sharing story time with her son, and soon she rediscovered her own joy in books, especially escape. Those twin hobbies became the heart of her new venture, Knitting Romance, a cozy Ellettsville shop blending yarn, fiber arts, and books. The store offers a curated selection of yarns, notions, romance titles, and children’s books, all chosen to celebrate creativity and connection. Lynn and her family live on a small Bloomington hobby farm complete with dogs, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows, and honeybees—a constant source of inspiration for the warmth and community she hopes Knitting Romance brings to others.

Volunteer Spotlight

Get to know the friendly faces behind the Ellettsville Chamber! Each month, we will highlight our dedicated volunteers so you can learn more about the people helping connect, support, and grow our Chamber community.

Billy Neal, Hoosier Hills Credit Union

In addition to my work in insurance and financial services at Hoosier Hills Credit Union, I’m also a Certified Heroic Coach through Heroic Public Benefit Corporation, where I’ve had the opportunity to coach and connect with incredible people who are committed to living with purpose, energy, and courage every day.
Outside of work, I’m married to my amazing wife, Angela, who owns Create Wellness LLC here in the community. We have two great kids — our daughter Margo, who’s 14, and our son Jack, who’s 9. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, playing golf, and staying active here in the Ellettsville and Bloomington area.
