U.S. Treasury Awards CDFI Friendly Bloomington $300,000 Technical Assistance Grant
|
|
CDFI Friendly Bloomington (CFB), a regional nonprofit organization working to increase community development finance institution investment in 13 Indiana counties, was recently awarded a $300,000 Technical Assistance (TA) grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund.
|
|
On November 21, award announcements were made, benefitting 246 organizations across the United States with $72.6 million in capacity-building grant funds to provide financial products and services to low-income and underserved communities across the country. This is the second award for CFB, which also received a $125,000 grant in 2021.
|

Join us from January to April and help move people from poverty to possibility—one tax return at a time! The Free Community Tax Service provides FREE federal and state income tax preparation to low- and moderate-income residents at sites in Brown, Monroe, and Owen counties.

Become a Dementia Friendly Business!
|

Show your organization’s commitment to empowering those living with dementia and their care partners to stay active in the community!
|
|
How: At least 50% of staff must attend the Dementia Friendly Business Training through an in-person session or online at www.alzresourceindiana.org.
|
|
Once the staff requirement is met, the Organization will receive a certificate, window decal, and be added to our online list of certified businesses to be recognized by the community as a Dementia Friendly Location.
