Master Rental has been serving Monroe County for over 40 years.
|
Located at 3704 Jonathan Dr. in Bloomington, Master Rental rents construction tools and machinery to handymen, homeowners, and contractors. Through the Tent & Event division, we also rent tents, tables, chairs, and more.
We rent portable restrooms to both the construction and event markets.

Since April 2019, Deron Lavin has owned and managed Master Rental. He brought extensive knowledge of equipment to the company when he was hired as general manager in 2014. Deron's experience includes serving in the Wisconsin National Guard's heavy equipment unit and sales and customer service for Caterpillar and Ditch Witch. He takes great pride in his employees and his community.

Master Rental is easily recognizable within the Monroe County community, serving as a prominent supplier to Indiana University, local community schools, not-for-profits, significant corporations like Cook and Catalent, festivals, and fairs. We indeed take pride in the volume of weddings, graduations, and backyard-type celebrations! Big or small, Master Rental has Monroe County covered for equipment, tents, and now portable restrooms!

Janelle Monáe, William Shatner to perform at Hoosier Cosmic Celebration at IU Bloomington with special guest Dr. Mae Jemison on April 8th.
Tickets for the Hoosier Cosmic Celebration, starting at $15 for students and $19 for the general public, will be available on Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Feb. 9.

Congratulations, Officer Jeff Baker! Officer Baker is the newest Reserve Officer of the Ellettsville Police Department and has served as the SRO at Seven Oaks Classical School for the past 3 years. After completing the Indiana Law Enforcement Training, he was sworn in on Wednesday, February 8, 2024 by Clerk-Treasurer Noelle Conyer at the Ellettsville Town Hall. Chief Durnil presented Officer Baker with his badge who was also accompanied by Head of School, Dr. Stephen Shipp.

Event: No Rolling Stones: a Landscape Perspective of the Dry Stack Stone Walls of Monroe County

If you navigate the hills and valleys of the western half of Monroe County, you will pass many stands of dry stack stone walls. Wall stones have been repurposed near where walls once marked a property line or other notable location. Join Susan Snider Salmon as we look at the stories of what is known and examine what remains to be rediscovered.
