Election for Board Directors


The Greater Ellettsville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold an election during the Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Thursday, October 24.
Three Board Directors are up for reelection and one new Board Director

Gary Brinley – Peoples State Bank
Gary Brinley is the Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer for The Peoples State Bank. Gary graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1983 receiving a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business with an Accounting major. Gary is a CPA, receiving his certificate in 1986. Gary joined The Peoples State Bank in 1997 as their interim Controller, taking that position on a full-time basis in 1998. Gary has been a member of the Chamber Board of Directors since 2005, serving as President from 2006 to 2010, 2012-2013, and 2015 to 2019. Gary has been the Treasurer since 2020. Gary resides in Bloomington with his wife Marilyn.
Clark Greiner — Bloomington Economic Development Corporation
Business Development Director for the BEDC
Clark Grenier brings extensive experience working in the private and public sectors focused on strengthening economic vitality, which complements the BEDC. Clark most recently served as Sales Manager for Garden Tower Project, LLC. As an entrepreneur and Vice President for Business Development at an investment banking firm, his earlier work included business development and planning coordination for the City of Columbus, Indiana. He also has more than a decade of experience in operations and manufacturing management. Clark is married and has four kids, two of whom attend Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College – Bloomington. He enjoys the outdoors, art, music and plays the ukulele.
Donna Niese — The Niese Agency
Donna has operated her office in Bloomington, IN since 2007, expanding services to Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio. She offers insurance and financial services while actively participating in community volunteer work, including roles with the Ellettsville Chamber, Bloomington Chamber, Shriners Children's Hospital, and others. Donna is a member of Tri-Kappa Sorority, Order of the Eastern Star, and BNI. She has served on the Ellettsville Chamber Board, including a term as past president, and the Board of the American Red Cross. Additionally, she has been a PTO president at Tri-North Middle School and a cheerleading coach at LCA Academy.
Kimberly Pitcher, P.E.— Smithville
Kimberly has been with Smithville for 11 years and is currently the Manager of Plant Engineering, which is responsible for fiber optic builds, inspection, and maintaining records of Smithville’s infrastructure. Her previous roles comprise 20 years’ experience working for State and Local Government Agencies that involved road design, public interactions, and property rights. Kimberly has experience connecting businesses to businesses and businesses to customers while taking the communities’ communication needs into consideration. She is a 27-year resident of Ellettsville with her husband and has experienced Ellettsville’s evolvement during that time. Their daughter is currently in Evansville.
