John Fernandez Highlights the Trades District's Transformative Impact at September Power Luncheon

John Fernandez, senior vice president for innovation and strategic partnerships at the Mill spoke to our members at our September Power Luncheon. He highlighted the Trades District's impact on Monroe County, Ellettsville, Bloomington and Indiana University. The Trades District will attract talent and capital by creating a hub for startups, tech companies, and creative industries, driving economic growth and strengthening regional ties.

The New Stewart Park and Heritage Trail Extension To Be Complete by December 2024

The Town of Ellettsville received a grant for $226,350 from the Regional Economic Acceleration & Development Initiative ("READI") to construct the Ellettsville Heritage Center (using the existing footprint of the barn) at Stewart Park. Seven Oaks Classical School Seeking Sponsors for Athletic Program

Seven Oaks Classical School is a free, public charter school in Ellettsville, IN - founded in 2016. Athletics are an extremely important part of student-life at Seven Oaks. Sports give our students lifelong tools like perseverance, teamwork, and commitment, and broadly, a platform to represent our core values. We are in year two of a three year provisional contract with the IHSAA. Our goal is to compete at the 1a level as an official IHSAA school the 2026-2027 school year.
